The unique
mounting interface allows you
mount the bottle at an angle. It's a problem solver for suspension frames,
small frames, and any frame with unconventional boss location and a
possible ergonomic advantage in race situations. Of course if you don't
have any problem, you can always mount it straight.
This is what sets the Tangent
2 Cage apart from most cages on the market.
Some frames make it really
difficult to retrieve your water bottle. Angled mounting solves this
problem.
Racers can use
a slight tilt for a quicker access to tthe bottle. Depending on the
rider even a couple of degrees can make a big difference
Surgical-quality stainless
steel is stiffer and more fatigue resistant than aluminum cages. It
also will not stain your bottle like aluminum cages (like you are really
concerned about that)
