Lobo "Adventure" Crankset

329.99

Not so long ago even entry level road bikes were equipped with the same gearing as a pro racer and most of us would never venture into the 53t unless the bike was pointed down a hill or were cross-chaining. Though progress has been made, most road bikes today still have 50t big rings. We say "not...good...enough"!

The Lobo is sold modularly, so you specify your own chainring ratio to create your ideal "super compact", "adventure" or "road" crankset.

1) Pick your crank arm size/color

2) Pick your outer ring (46, 44, 42, 40t)

3) Pick your inner ring (if you want one - 32, 30, 28t)

Why should you be locked into a ratio designed specifically for elite road racers, CX racers, or even gravel racers? Let your legs tell what are the optimal gears for the riding you do.

  • Cold-forged 6061-T6 aluminum arms in polished black or silver
  • 7075-T6 aluminum chainrings ramped and pinned, Shimano 10/11-speed compatible (110 BCD outers, 74 BCD inners)
  • 24mm steel axle
  • Sealed cartridge bearing BB cups with aluminum sleeve included; fits 68/73mm shell with English threads
  • Chainring bolts included
  • Weight (including BB and 46-30t rings): 995g

Choose whatever combo you want, but we recommend staying within a 16t difference, so your front derailleur doesn't have to work as hard. Sorry Lobo doesn't do 50-34t, 46-36t or even 48-32t right now.
